Diarrhea in summer is due to insufficient Qi. Those who are affected have poor appetite, indigestion, diarrhea, and so on.

– Diarrhea may be caused by eating food that has gone bad. Having the occasional bout of diarrhea helps to expel excessive heatiness and dampness from the body. It is the body’s own self-induced protection mechanism. There is an old folk saying – “Diarrhea in the hottest days of the year cannot be bought for even 1,000 pieces of gold”.
However, if you have diarrhea regularly, you have to pay attention to your health and see a doctor as soon as possible.
There are 3 types of Qi insufficiency :
- Blacking out once you stand up
- Indigestion, poor appetite
- Diarrhea, Qi is dispersed, loose stool that is formless
